Senior PHP Laravel Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality PHP. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in PHP development, a deep understanding of WordPress architecture, and a passion for creating scalable solutions.

Knowledge on working with WordPress CMS is a must.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop high-quality software solutions using Laravel PHP Framework.
• Write clean, well-documented code adhering to Laravel best practices and standards.
• Design and implement database structures using MySQL or any other suitable DBMS.
• Create and maintain robust, scalable APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to understand project requirements, define technical solutions, and provide accurate estimates.
• Perform website performance optimizations and conduct regular security audits.
• Additional framework knowledge such as CodeIgniter or YII framework will be addon.
• Should be able to develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress and PHP trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Customize existing themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in PHP development with a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, and filters.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Solid understanding of MySQL databases and database management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in CodeIgniter/Laravel Framework is must.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Experience using AJAX & CSS techniques.
• Candidates preferred from Mumbai location.
